Tom has a HUGE selection of collected and field-grown bonsai, pre-bonsai and yamadori. Iβve never seen so many Japanese black pines in one place in the U.S.. He literally walked around with me for over an hour explaining the history and answering questions about varieties and anything else I wanted to know. I left with a big trident maple (with a 5-inch nebari!), an exposed-root, semi-cascade crabapple, and three little starter cotoneasters for less than $500! If you pick them up in person you donβt have to pay shipping and it makes them at least 20% cheaper. He has some of the best prices Iβve seen and his passion for the art of bonsai makes it a real treat to talk with him about his trees.
